New Pink Paislee!

Hellloooo there guys! Hope you had a super weekend. I had a marvelous weekend...lying by the pool...planning & drooling over my box of Pink Paislee deliciousness that arrived last week.
They are at CHA this week, launching their x4 new lines.....& wow I am impressed. The papers are so well co-ordinated & they all come with matching embellishments, pages of alphas, stickers & even the coolest fabric flowers. So do yourself a favour & take a look here. The design team have also been hard at work creating some of the most gorgeous projects I have seen in a while, using the new lines. You will find sneak peeks in the blog or take a look at the gallery, they are posted there too.

I am still working on my projects but as soon as I am done, I post a few here. Chat soon!

Long beach

The weather was so awesome this weekend, that we spent most of it outdoors...either experiencing it first hand with the sun on our faces or with friends around the pool.

These were taken at Long Beach, a beautiful stretch of our coast line 30 minutes drive from our house...that is thankfully still pretty much natural & fairly unspoiled by commercialism. The owners of the opulent {expensive} beach houses you can see, are mostly vacationers or nature lovers themselves....so they are all for peace, quiet & no need shops or restaurants either. It is one of our fave things to do on the rare occasion when the wind isn't too bad.

The tide was ridiculously low...rare for this time of year!

Hopefully this weekend will be the same & we can head out there again. Nothing like gorgeous views & fresh air to clear the head & invigorate the weary body from an epic 4 hour stint of Criminal minds the night before. (We are suckers for a good DVD series. One is just never enough)

New @ Cocoa Daisy!

Hey guys! I just wanted to remind you that there will not be a January kit this month. We thought that everyone might appreciate a month to get caught up on their scrapbooking, give their pocketbooks a rest after the holidays and make a dent in their scrap stash. BUT we realize that there are probably some of you that would like to start your scrapbook New Year off with a new project and so this month we will be offering THREE different project kits created by Daisy Divas all geared to the new year or remembering the old.

All three of the project kits will be available on the site on Monday, January 5th.

Christine’s project this month will be a card kit geared towards getting all your cards for the year made all at one go! And to go along with all these adorable cards, Christine has created for each kit a felt bag as a handy storage place for your cards that you will receive FREE with the kit!

In with a BANG! 2009.

Oh my hat! I am still pinching myself....I can hardly breathe.....in-out! Wheeeu! OK I am good now.....

I have just gotten the most CRAZY exciting news.....I have been asked to be on this creative team...

No I am not kidding......Yeeeehaaaa! I am so excited. With the time differences, I only got to see the news this morning when I woke up...they were so sneaky, letting everyone wait until midnight (CET) before they notified the scrappy planet about their 2009 team. I hadn't heard anything by the time I headed to bed, so assumed I wasn't chosen...I wish you could have been a fly on the wall as I slowly browsed the announcement this morning.When I saw a page that looked like one of my own...& realised...HEY! that's ME! I got such a shock I jumped up & yelled. Maxi, of course ran up to me asking if I was alright. I said Baby, I am SO alright....ecstatic actually.

Wow! I have a feeling this year is going to be an exciting one....not only is their product amazing but they have the coolest web site & fun forum where they are constantly giving away prizes & RAK's. If you have a moment, take a gander over there & take a look. Here is the link~
