Fall mini album + Tutorial

As promised I have the tutorial for the Fancy Pants Pumpkin mini album from last weeks blog post. The album was made using the Summer's End collection.

Pumpkin mini album capturing my fave Fall photos by Kim Watson

Cut template:
Resize to suit your preferred album size.

Step #1~
Trace pumpkin shapes in cardstock for inner covers & patterned paper covers for the outside covers.
Step #2~
Cut out center panel & edge in darker patterned paper for interest. Stitch x3 panels together.
Step #4~
Stick the inner cover to the outer cover.
Step #5~
Decorate cover as desired.
Step #6~
Score a 12x4" piece of paper, or wide enough to 'fit' your pages, at 1/2" intervals.
Step #7~
Squash concertina together.
Step #8~
Prepare your inside pages. I stitched the Journal cards onto cardstock for strength & stuck them back to back. Decorate.
Step #9~
Slip the pages each into their own fold & glue shut. NB: to miss a fold in between each page.
Step #10~
Press pages together, making sure they line up with each other perfectly for neatness. Open end folds & glue to end page.
Step #11~
Cut x4 +-1x 3.75" for binding purposes.
Step #12~
Glue strips evenly spaced along spine of booklet as binding.
Step #13~
To assemble mini album, adhere decorative covers to first & last 'pages'.
Step #14~
Back cover can be as plain or detailed as you want. I left mine plain.
You are all done!!
Here is a peak inside one of the pages.

I sure hope you have found this helpful! If you make one remember to link me up to your project, I'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for stopping by!
