And the book I was inspired by...
Well as you can see not only did love inspire my page but the cover of one of my fave books too, "Advertising, Design and Typography by Alex White". It was the perfect catalyst for my page because my bloke, being a graphic designer, and I, can have long & meaningful discussions about typography & fonts (seriously, no laughing please :o) It is one of the many things we have in common & add to our great relationship. And on the subject of color...color is something this line is full of, bold and rich vibrancy that that screamed for me to try something a little different."
This is how I did it:
I pulled out x2 pages of odd alphas stickers I had left over to create my 'message block'. If you look carefully, there are messages & love words in there :o) The alphas I used were in x2 different colors, so I covered the whole white page in layers of white acrylic paint for continuity and an artsy, typography feel. Remember to leave enough space for your title to fit in, once the paint is dry. I spritzed a fine layer of colored glimmer mist over the white for a bit of romantic glam.
Influenced by the red & black of the book cover, I selected appropriate patterned papers & embellishments. These I layered underneath my photographs.
Add machine stitching. Punch your butterflies & attach with a selection of jeweled brads. Lastly add your titles & journaling.

Inspiration can be found in many places & forms...I challenge you to do the same, you'll be surprised by just how much is around you everyday."
And a sweet valentines cards using the Letterbox line! The mid-tone colors & gorgeous alphas stickers made creating it so easy.
Hope you find these inspiring?
