Catch up.

Yes I have been MIA....yes I have been an awful blogger but my schedule over the last two weeks has been NUTS!! (In a good way though).

I have been scrapping like a big dawg, with big dawg deadlines.... fetching & carrying kids, helping a friend who is a new mama, & generally keeping myself out of mischief. Being the end of the year, the Nativity practices are in full swing. Max is the first kiddie on the stage with his introduction to the Christmas play, so he has been practicing his words with expression & hand movements, "because see there are exclamation marks Mama"...clever tick! So sweet. I'll post pics when I have some.

I have had loads to do..... with mag & guest designer assignments but also because the Cocoa Daisy Crop starts tonight. Here are the details:

Make sure you pop in, there are fabulous prizes up for grabs, free classes, challenges and games. Every year they are such a blast, & this one is sure to be the best yet!

I have a couple of pages to share...just 'cos I can :o)

A little while back I tried my hand at Shabby Chic with texture & a bit of nostalgia thrown in. They were such fun to do :)

Curled my patterned paper back & let the flowers peep out.

Used corrugated card here, ripped off the top layer, inked it & wrapped twine around it.

This page is of my beautiful Mum. I used 16 different stamps from Cocoa Daisy, Prima & Studio Calico to create my background. Then mixed in some delicious papers & trims from Websters pages, October Afternoon, & Basic Grey.

Well that's all for now folks....I am about to head into the kitchen to start preparing dinner for some special old friends from New Zealand. Have a super weekend, & make sure to pop in at the Cocoa Daisy crop. It'll be super to chat!

The background you created with the stamps is so elegant, I have never thought to use "gray" ink but this is so inspiring! I am going to go purchase some today!
