Photo stream #3

Hello everyone....time for It's real life #3. As requested by Jessica....here is the next photo installment:

My bed side table including hairy cow, rubber toad & two tiny cars....and the necessary regulars... bible & photo of Tersh & I on our wedding day!

There are no drawers for you to peek in but every day I chuck the hot water bottle underneath it.

Under my bed.....nothing but an electric plug point & Max's piece of kitchen counter board that he plays 'Great Sphinx' with.

My PJ's...all horribly functional....nothing even remotely interesting to hold your attention for longer than 1 second...:o)

My art for the walls.....we look all the frames down about 6 months ago to paint black. They were painted but now sit against the wall......waiting to be put back......Ho-hum!

My bedroom...I love it for the space, light & view into the yard. It is an expression of me in that it is uncluttered & uncomplicated & what you see is what you get; no mess-no fuss. The only thing I hate about it is, that it is ridiculously cold in winter....like the rest of our house.

Well that's it guys...hope you enjoyed the tour.
~Kim!

  1. I love those frames, the green polka dot pjs and how incredibly tidy your home is! My house is a cluttered mess most of the time! I love seeing your life through the lens! :) xx oo

  2. Wow, but it really does look like that whenever I've seen it.
Love the hot water bottle and its snazzy cover. I saw the challenge on Jessica's blog but decided I've "done" our bedroom already, except for the cutting mat and dust under the bed, so not needing to blog that today though.
No maid for the week (let's not go there hey?)
When you gonna post the LO's? Is it Friday?

  10. What do you mean, "not hold" our attention? I LOVED those green polka dots jammies!
Now, let's see... under my bed you probably would find my electric blanket, Brian's collection of socks (the ones we can never find to pair them up with the others in my lost socks basket), maybe two or three CK magazines I've been looking for all over the house, the gray remote for the DVD player (also missing since about 2006), and two or three of Connor's cowboys...
But you won't see me taking a picture of THAT!!!
    You are just TOO CLEAN!!!!

  14. Holy stack of pillows on your bed- it's like the princess and the pea. I love the brightness of your room and your water bottle cover is cool-I might have to have someone (I don't sew) make me one for my heating pad. I am jealous of your sliders out to your yard- how nice.

  15. Ok, I have nothing new to add that hasn't already been said! It's truly a great room.

We have an incredibly cold house too. We got a corn burning stove that made a world of difference--don't know if something like that would be worth looking into for you...
