Loving the August Cocoa Daisy kit!

I got my kit later than the others, with the postal strikes in my area...everything was delayed. But do not fear...all is sorted now & I got my August & September kit together, so you must know the type of creative high I am on right now.  Please notice my delicious butterflies....I updated them a little this month by cutting them in the gorgeous Lily Bee paper & doubling them up in true Jaime Warren style.

The pink layered flower I cut using my Slice....I would be so lost without that little gadget ;-)

This sweet card was a labor of love. I was determined to do some hand stitching after Ronda's lovely examples last month, and this was the result.

Well that is all I have for today....but watch this space there are more to come in the next couple of days!!
Happy scrappin!
Kim!

  3. So you did that sewing (sunshine) on that card by hand? Amazing!!! The layouts are so lush and colorful!

  4. Sjoe! At first I thought you machine stitched it, until I read you handstitched it. A real labour of love but it sure is purdy.
Stunning LO's as always with interesting colour ways.
    One of your trademarks perhaps?

  5. Funny - our kits arrived 8 days after yours & I thought that to Durban would be quicker because the distance is shorter Joburg-Durban than Joburg-Cape Town. The postal strike was country wide throughout South Africa. Lucky you to have the Ali kit in your possie as well. Mind you I have more than enough in the August kit to keep me busy for a bit ;-D
