@gcdstudios + Fabrip journal spot idea

Thought I'd share this page with you today...where I used 'some-out-of-the-ordinary' journal spots. Most of the page was created using some fun products from GCD Studio's Homespun Chique collection (thanks guys!). For the Journal spots I used Anthology- Fabrips from Studio Calico.

This is a close-up of the journal spots.
How to make the journal spots:
Supplies:
  • Fabrips from Studio Calico
  • 3", 2.5" & 1.5" scalloped circle punches from EK Success
  • Zig photo marker
  • Sewing machine
Instructions:
Punch a variety of scalloped circle sizes from the grid design Fabrip strip. Using a bright color thread, sew around the circles a couple of times for interest. Using a permenant marker journal on the spots & adhere to your page.

The great thing about this technique is that you can use any punch shapes you might have on hand for a interesting take on the faithful journal spot.
Well I need to go & get some pages finished. Hope you have found this helpful!
