How-to scan your 12x12 layout.

Morning lovelies!
There was a question from one of my sweet blogging buddies about how I scan my layouts.

Well I actually don't scan my pages but opt for photography rather. With the layering on my pages, photography gives me a more actuate end result than scanning does. If you are looking for more info on how best to photograph your pages, take a look at the link I saw on the MME blog. You might find it helpful.

However.... there was a time when I scanned all my pages and this is how I did it...using a standard A4 size scanner.
By using the coolest Scan & Stitch software bought online from a company called Arcsoft. It has a special feature that deals with 12x12 scrapbook pages. One scans the page from all four corners, then it stitches it all together perfectly. It is easy enough for anyone to use.

If you are wanting more info on scanners, take a look at the online article here, from CK's September issue where Deena Weust talks about her choice of  top 10 scanners available on the market.

Feel free to mail me if you have any other questions?
Thanks for stopping by.
