Happy World Card Making Day! I am so glad you are here at my blog! I assume you have come from the Fancy Pants blog where they have a super post up with some great cards using some OWH sketches.
First off, we hope you are enjoying hopping around to all the different blogs who are participating in this . We love that so many people are coming together to share their love for card making, as well as reaching out through Operation Write Home to the brave men and women who protect the USA's freedom!
I chose to create a card using OWH sketch number #101. Here's what I came up with.
Happy Day card by Kim Watson
"I made this card using Little Sport collection. I flipped the original design vertically and followed the basic design. The amazing thing about the background is that it is actually one of the NEW lines Fancy Pants released at the last CHA, 4x6 Brag Pads. They are little booklets filled with different card designs perfect for scrapbooking pages and cards alike. The result is a fast card which is masculine & fun too."

ReplyDeleteThere is so much going on (and so much to love about this card). I love the combination of patterned papers and the hand stitching. But I think my favorite part is the way you used the tag (with a file folder label) to place your sentiment on. Really clever!
