I found it!

My challenge enthusiasm is back.....I have been so sick with flu over the last 2 weeks...AGAIN! that I just haven't felt like focusing anything mentally challenging, other than flicking the remote on & off.
Well I am happy to say that hopefully this is the last I shall see of the nasty flu that has been hovering over Cape Town for the last two months. By now I should have so many anti bodies in my blood stream...warding off an episode of the plague should be a breeze :o)

So who's up to a a bit of a scrappy challenge? I was thinking hard about what would be a good theme for challenge #9 (no smart 'she was thinking?' comments please!) & I was wondering what I personally find challenging?.....As a whole not much, unless of course it is a double L.O...they make me sweat & see double (no pun intended). Now I know there are those faithful blog buddies out there, who can whip up a double in their sleep, but there are plenty of us who can't, so humor us & share your expertise .....pleeeezze!

I borrowed a 2008 sketch from Becky Fleck @ Page maps to give the likes of 'moi' a starting point. You might be looking at this thinking ...what on earth is she blabbing on about...that sketch is SOOOO basic??? but don't be fooled guys.....that's all I'm saying :o)
The deadline for this L.O will be next week Friday...the (um?) I'll have to look the actual date up. Let me know if you are going to play along.

Have a super day!
Hugs
KJ!

  1. I love the sketch. I was just thinking that I use to do double pages all the time until about a year and a half ago. Then it was single all the way. My style changed dramatically at that point to.
Anyway, I'll do it! Looks fun. I think I have the perfect pictures for it too.

  2. ooohhh, a challenge... with a deadline... maybe that is just what i need! wait, does that mean i have to get up from the computer? then maybe not, unless i scrap it digitally... :-)

i like working from sketches, especially when my mojo she has gone to far away. like now.

i only do doubles, i battle with singles.

  3. I'm a back and forth kinda gal. I feel like I HAVE to do doubles sometimes because of a certain even or theme (too many pics not to). I always love my singles though...more artistic, maybe. So hope all is well and that you are finally over the flu. I do not look forward to having two kiddos in school with all the germies out there, especially with a little babe at home. Something's coming your way...how long do things take to get from the States to South Africa?

  6. I'll will try my best to give this one a go too Kim. I also used to do double layouts until - well I don't really know when or why I stopped but I know it's been a looooong time. Don't have much time on my hands though so can't make any promises.

  9. I think I just broke out in hives thinking about having to make a double pager! eeekkk! I LOVE your blog and your sense of humor - I will see if I can fit this challenge in because heaven knows I probably need to do at least ONE double page layout in my lifetime ;) but if not I will definitely be back and play another - hope you have a great weekend!
