I did it!

Challenge #7...I finally finished has been on my scrap table for nearly 10 days. Don't you just hate having something on the back burner, that you just can't seem to get to? Well I do, so I am really relieved to be able to tick this baby off my to-do list.
For those who never quite 'get' my take on sketches.....see I turned it upside down & inverted it but it is still the same sketch.

Once I had decided & cut the x2 different pieces of patterned paper, I found it a challenge to get the two halves of the L.O to 'marry' together, being such different colours. It took a bit of pushing around but I think I finally worked it out,by using colour balance. The colour & style of the embellishments on both sides 'match' pulling the whole thing together.
Funnily enough this is one of the few L.O's I have done that Tersh doesn't like...oh dear can't get it 100% right all the time.

Challenge #8 up a bit later.

  1. Thanks for the explaination about the invert and upside down.
    Sorry Tersh doesn't love it.
It is certainly not matchy matchy!

  2. OMG how are these pics?

  3. LOVE your LO! It was well worth the wait, my friend!

  4. Yummy yummy! I especially love the lower left corner (you know me). Can't wait to see what the next challenge will be...
PS I was going to tell you that I do get CK and I usually turn corners down on the l.o's that inspire me...your juicy fruit lo was corner down GIRL!!!! I didn't even know it was yours until you posted it. Love it.

  5. What's not to like! It's stunning! Those pics are so much fun@ Love it all! :)

  6. I got some great mail from u....thanks!!! You're so creative, thinking outside the box, I just take a sketch and try to copy it. Maybe that's why I don't like doing it that way!

  7. Looking at this LO again I've decided in the marriage "opposites attract!"

Th♥nks for your comments!
