CK November issue...

The November issue of CK is out, & I have to say I LOVE it. It is so full of amazing ideas & inspiring L.O's, if you haven't got yourself a copy...do yourself a favour, go grab one I am positive you won't regret it!!!

Talking about this issue......you will notice that they feature someone's scrap space......'ehem'....that would be none other than MINE hehe! I was very honored when Joannie McBride contacted me asking if I was keen to show my humble space.
Since the mag came out, there have been some questions relating to my space, specifically the 'floating wall' on one end of my living room.  Here are a couple of extra photos that will show you what it is (it doesn't really float...see).

I am blessed to have a wonderfully spacious home & tried a couple of areas to set up my scrap space before settling on this one. It is a compact space, chosen purely because of the proximity to the rest the happenings of our home. Stuck away in a room somewhere, I felt isolated  & out of touch with the rest of the family; here I can 'scrap-on-the-fly', tinkering on whatever my project might be whenever I get a gap, no matter how small.

M.M March L.O!

I still cannot find my March MM mag but seeing as it is a month since the mag came out, I thought it would be OK to post the page here. It was the first time I had experimented with so many photo's on one page & was so happy with the result.

What can I say...Spring in the Cape is quite amazing!

So excited!

I haven't posted to 2 peas for ages but in light of my responsibility to promote Cocoa Daisy & Pink Paislee where ever I can, I thought I'd better do some house keeping over there, clean up my galleries & start posting again.
Well last night I posted my newest PP project & my Feb Cocoa Daisy projects and three of them are in the top 10 for votes this AM!!!
I know it is really 'nothing' but I still feel mighty chuffed about it.

For the next challenge....I am excited to introduce you to Adia, she hails from Singapore & is one busy girl! She designs for Made with Love, Buzz and Bloom, Luxe designs & is a CD diva too. Her style is creative and happenin' with a feminine twist, which is why I thought it would be fantastic to lift her this week.

The 'rules' are to use a butterfly somewhere in the L.O, give your page title a twist...(no plain horizontal placements) & layer, layer, layer!

Oooh! I am going to have a ball with this one. The deadline for submissions is 24th November. So get creating I can't wait to see what you come up with this time :o)

Talking about prizes....I just won something fantastic....$300 worth of Autumn leaves stash. Autumn leaves were running a competition some time back, so far back in fact, that I'd forgotten all about it. Well, I got a mail the other day to say that I came second...how cool is that? I am waiting with baited breath for Fedex to knock on my door weilding happy mail of note!! I keep you posted.

Well guys...I am having tea with a buddy in about 15minutes...yay! I have been house bound all week, having so many scrappy projects to finish.So I am really looking forward to having some intelligent conversation over a coffee for a bit of variety.

A TOOT for me! (heehee)

I am so chuffed....one of my all time fave mags, Scrapbooking & Cards in doing a feature on lil' old me today. I did a tutorial for them on different stitch types, in light of my L.O 'Explore life' that went into their Fall mag. I am so happy with the way it turned out & I hope it will be really helpful for everyone wanting to add stitching to their L.O's.

Now a question........ how much do you love me???...& I know you do *wink wink*, then if you have a moment, please pop over there, take a squizz & leave some scrappy love :o)

Gone to my head!

Ag! I have a cold AGAIN & I am such a ninny when I can't get my nose to stop running. This is the down side of taking antibiotics...it shoots the immune system full of holes & any stray bug jumps on ya.

Blegh! I am no good to society when I am under the weather.

There is an upside to this miserable post though....I was featured on the Scrapbook & cards blog last week. (Their email said I would be featured today...but I see it was last Thursday...better late than never I suppose) It was one of my summery L.O's.....cool hey! If you feel so inclined, pop over there & leave them a message saying I'm a HOT scrapper & they need to feature me more often....I mean what are friends for hey???
